Finished English Walnut table with removable leaf

An integral part of this English Walnut table was the bespoke sliding mechanism, which was custom made with a 4000 watt fiber optic laser in 304L stainless steel. All parts designed in-house at Teak Mafia.

Sliding table leaf extension hardware rendered in Walnut and stainless was necessary to maintain a cohesive design, but unavailable in the market. We designed and built the wooden rails for our stainless gears.

The sliding table features a removable leave for more sitting room or table space, allowing for extra “spread” when entertaining.

Above we have our finished English Walnut table with all 3 leaves in place. When designing this table we took into account the dimensions of the sectional to maximize table room while allowing comfortable seating arrangements.

Above the center leaf is removed with the sliding mechanism exposed. Right and left sides glide together effortlessly. When removed, the center section tucks away into a custom made padded Sunbrella bag, included with the table .

Completing the look is a matching butcher block style range cover, rendered in Black Walnut. This cutting board is usable above the range when not cooking and easily stowed when not in use.
