REFUNDS ON CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders placed at Teak Mafia require a non-refundable 50% deposit to process. Payment of a 50% deposit constitutes acceptance of the proposed design, materials, finishes and delivery dates described in the Quotation.
COMPLETION DATES
Completion dates are approximate, and orders are completed in the order they are received. Teak Mafia does not process RUSH orders. Teak Mafia will do its best to meet estimated completion dates, although factors outside of our control make it impossible for us to guarantee any specific completion date. Cancellations are not accepted on the basis of an overdue project.
CHANGE ORDERS, CANCELLATION & RETURNS
Any changes to a custom design made after the deposit has been paid are subject to a change order fee based upon the actual cost of changes made. Teak Mafia does not accept returns or cancellations on any custom orders. Orders which require installation are subject to review by the boat owner or managing Captain prior to final payment. Installation charges and estimated completion dates are subject to change.
DELIVERIES
It is your responsibility to ensure that any items you order will fit into your space. Teak Mafia will not be responsible if an item does not fit. You will incur and agree to pay an additional $150 charge for any re-delivery. Large items such as marine tables are shipped via UPS and are appropriately insured based on their replacement value. The customer is responsible for payment of shipping fees unless otherwise noted. In the event damages are incurred during delivery, it is imperative that you note and photograph any and all damages at the time of delivery, and contact us immediately.
COLOR & GRAIN VARIATIONS
Due to the natural characteristics of wood, there will be variations in colors and grains. A sample may appear slightly different than your actual production piece.
WARRANTY
Teak Mafia offers a one-year limited warranty covering problems related to the construction of your piece. This warranty covers warping, cracking, and any defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover UV damage. Management has full discretion regarding how to repair/replace the items and what falls under warranty guidelines.
